dc.description.abstract | Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) are biodegradable polymer and eco-friendly thermoplastic, which are accumulated as carbon and energy storage materials in various bacteria. In this study, bacteria sample were taken from microbiology lab of Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, for the purpose of production of biopolymer using food waste as a C-source. To obtain PHA from Ralstonia Eutropha, food waste used as carbon-source at different incubation period. All synthesized intracellular inclusion during growth on starch carbon-source. Ralstonia Eutropha cultivation were proven promising for PHA production. | en_US |
